Part 1: 2nd job's status Part 2:shopping in the afternoon

I woke up in the morning on SAT, 29 Jan 2010, asking myself whether should I be going to work? A work which i feel very stressed up and enclosed. It took me lesser than half an hour to make this decision since i have been thinking of this question from the second week i went for the job.

Ask a him to accompany me to my workplace to take the cheque.

Something seems funny to me on the way there.
We took a bus there. The funny thing is not the bus but the bus trip.
All the way from my house to my ex workplace, he was doing ONE thing, cutting his fingernails.
hahas.. funny right?!
Actually is that upon sitting down, he accidently detached his watch's belt. In order to attach the belt back, he used his index finger's fingernail. However, he made a HUGE mistake!He broke his fingernail.
Then i told him: I have got nail cutter.
He then told me to take out and once the cutter was passed to him, he was very concentrated on cutting his nails which makes me bored as I have nobody to talk to. Then i decided to do ONE thing. Since he is so concentrated on cutting his nails, I shall concentrate on HOW he cuts his nails and this goes on until i reach my ex workplace.
After i took my cheque, we went for lunch, which was a waffle. However, the waffle was not that fantastic as i thought as it was quite soggy. Think they did not really fully baked the waffle. (shld be bake rite? if so, i dunno wat word 2 use alr, hahas)
After eating the waffle, i then realise that I am late for the meeting of Zhong Han they all. So i did a quick walk to the mrt.

Was late in meeting ZH, ZS, Owen, WK, Audrey, Rina and Jun Cheng.
luckily not that late afterall.hahas.
The agenda for the day: Help Zhong Han to buy clothings which includes the changing of his image! hahas
We went to bugis parco for a look around.But we found nothing suitable for ZH as he is.. too small size.. opps..hahas
However, the trip was not that wasted afterall. ZH bought himself a pair of shoes.
Then we proceed to Bugis street as I still feel that ZH would be able to find clothes that are more suitable for him there. During the process of trying out clothes, ZH feels that i am more like a mother to him, den I have once again recognise a son even though i have got a lot of daughters, god daughters and grand daughters.
The trip to Bugis street was fufilling. Not only did ZH got himself a shirt, i got myself a dress too, hahas..
Opps.. i think i concentrate too much on ZH alr and left the others out. But dun worry.. Here I am going to include them.
After Bugis street, we went to iluma.
Inside iluma, outside Comic Connection, Owen suddenly called for the rest of us except for WK(lao da), JC and ZH as they are sticking to each other.
The main aim of this gathering is to decide whether to celebrate WK's 21st birthday today or not as his birthday is on 4 Feb, but by then, he is still in the army. So we decided to celebrate it for him.
The 1st thing we though of is WHERE? where to use? JC's house seems to be the besr choice. So we went to his house.
2nd thing: WHAT? what should we buy as his present? JC suggested a key as it would represent his key to freedom i guess. The next part of the plan is to distract Wk so that we can go buy him the present.The girls(Audrey, Rina and I) bluffed him that we are going to shop for more clothes. Actually we were going to get him a present. We went down to couple lab and brought this key necklace for him.
But one thing, we were scared that the length of the necklace is TOO short for WK.hahas.. So we called Owen(ex lao da) to come down and take a look. But Owen is the skinnest of all. Initally we suggested either ZH or ZS to come down and take a look but Rina insisted on calling JC down.So Owen went to call JC down. Luckily he was wearing a collar shirt so we had somehow made the collar useful.In the end,we decided on the necklace. $58.. for the pendant and necklace.Worth it.
After the session of choosing necklace, we had to decide on what cake to buy. This time round, we had already decided on buying the CNY set from KFC. But WK insisted on following them to KFC. Our initial plan was to ask those going to KFC to buy the cake as well. In the end, the plan changed. Those who were suppose to go JC's house first went to buy the cake.
Had our dinner and then gave WK a surprise party! He was so shocked and kept thanking us for the celebration held. But i really do hope that this is the most memorable birthday party he ever had =)

New phone and memories of old phones

A New Year with a New Phone, isn't that great?
Have been too busy in the past few weeks to realise that my phone's contract is actually ending in a few weeks time(hmmm.. few mths maybe, because is 7 weeks).How did i got to realise this incident you may ask. I am also not sure myself, so you can keep this question to yourself, hahas.
This time round, I actually thought of getting a Samsung phone as I have got 2 Samsung phones and they are in quite good conditions even though 2 years has already past, of course 4 years for the 1st phone(which my mum is still using now)

My 1st phone.
I got my 1st phone when i was in secondary 3, that was when i really wanted a phone of my own and decided to get down to earth, sign a contract. Before that i had a Nokia phone, but that is not mine, it belongs to my dad and i really yearn for one. So before i know, i have signed e contract already and I was 15 years old, still not old enough to sign a contract independently and had to get a parent to sign.But one of the requirement was to have the IC of my mum. Here comes the problem. My mum doesn't have the habit of bringing her IC out as there is really no need for that and if she somehow loses it, the penalty would be $100.I still remembered it vividly, my mum told me to go home and get it while she waits at bugis gor me. As you know, I m a determined person, so I took the train home to get my mum's IC and then went all the way back to bugis again while she and my youngest sister go for a walk around. In the end, i got my phone which i had to pay an addtional $48, if I am not wrong (I am saying if.. but you won't know the amount too, hahas). The new phone was practically my treasure to me. I really took care of it, but that was for the starting part.As time goes by, the phone slowly became a little malfunction and problems start, but i will skip the problem part, in case I am boring my readers to death already.

My 2nd phone, Samsung music phone. Tink i spent $50++ on that phone not because I really like the phone but because it has the music function.(but quite a fake.. cuz e speaker is the same as the part where you receive your phone calls) This time round, I am fully 18 years old.No need my mum's IC, but she bought it along anyway, just in case you see so that it can save me the trouble of running back and fro again, 22 mths later.[just in case you are wondering why 22 months later, it is because for M1(i am not sure of others), you can renew your contract once 22 months is over but you cannot terminate it]

My 3rd phone - Sony Ercisson C903
This time round i really didn't know that i would be using sony ericsson phone instead of Samsung phone, maybe because of the price. Samsung's phone are mostly touch screen and i don't really prefer that type as I, personally, feels that it is not user friendly to me. As a person who uses the keypad to sense when I am smsing, i would prefer something that would give me a more realistic feeling, so i switched brand. This time round, I am not alone in making the decision of geting this phone. I have got recommendations from all around, especially good details from him(he who won't want to be named), who went to the shop with me twice, yesterday and the day before. Actually I was not really determined to get the phone but after the comparison made ny him on his phone and mine, I became determined, hahas, because this phone is way better than his, HAHAS(jk jk,partially also because I want a change of brand due to the nice phone and price to me).Next time see him can compare our phones already, sure mine is way better than his, hahas..I actually asked for those kind of vouchers and stuffs but the person's reaction is just: you go check online, everything is there.But this time tound, the renewing of the contract is really fast, not like 22 months ago, the person told me a lot of information, but this time round, the talking time was reduced even though there is not much customers around as compared to 22 months ago.But the phone is not bad, 5 mega pixel for the camera, which is a WOW as compared to my 2 mega pixel camera music phone. Haven charge the phone yet, so I cannot guarantee that the charger is really alright. I am saying this because my sister has this problem 2 years ago too. She changed her phone to Sony Ericsson then and met up with a lot of problem with the charger. We went for a replacement and yet, the result is the same.She got a bit fed up so didn't went back to change the charger again.As for me, my choosing of SOny Ericsson phone is also partially because of her. As the charger is the same for all phones, she and I can share the charger and hopefully her problems regarding the charging of battery part can be fully resolved.
Ok, think it is time for me to sleep, if not, tomorrow I will become a panda.

Outing With Him

Just reach home a while ago. But something very funny happened just now during the shopping trip with him.

Our first stop should be 313 Somerset shopping centre using the train, but we ended up walking all the way from City Hall to somerset.

The trip in between was..hahas..fun? We talk a lot of craps.. hahas

The first shopping mall we got into was Orchard Central. Read carefully.. here goes the funny things..

We were actually to go shop for guys clothes, instead i suggested that we went up to the rooftop to have a look at the scenery. (OMG, i think my language is getting from bad to worst). Aniway, we didn't stay quite long at the 12th floor, which is the rooftop, and went down to the 11th floor instead. The scenery is quite good, but i hate the wind and that was the reason i did not stay up there. Actually want to take picture, but with the wind was seriously blowing and making a mess of my hair, so i gave that idea up.

Our Next shopping mall was at 313 @somerset. In there, the first shop we went to was Forever 21 but the clothes were too nice 4 me to afford it, so we went to another shop. But as you see, I have not gone into the main topic which should be buying guy clothes.

Finally, inside 313 @somerset, we are heading to some shops that sells clothings for guys, but i would say that i was also advantaged as most of the shops sell clothings for unisex.

In the process of looking at the clothings, he suddenly mention about him being unsuitable to wear tight shirt because it will show his 'breast'. hahas.. In actual fact, it should be chest instead of breast and this incident makes me laugh for almost the whole trip, when we were choosing shirts for guys.

Another incident would be the wearing of jeans. Know what, some jeans for guys are really very long and it somehow bothers mi.. Do all guys have such long legs? Then what about those with shorter legs? Wouldn't they find it difficult to look for suitable jeans then. But jeans for guys and girls does really have a difference. Guys' jeans doesn't come that tight whereas jeans for girls would come in a tighter form, such as skinny jeans. Actually guys also have skinnies, but i don't think they would want to wear it on always as it is not very good for their reproductive system(from my pri sch knowledge)
After looking at all these stuffs, we felt a little tire in our legs so we decided to take a sit. Therefore, we actually decided to go to Takashimaya's food court for a drink since there could be places available. In the end, we settled for the seats by the roadside. That was our 1st seat. However, as human, we do feel thristy, hahas, so we got ourselves up and headed for cold storage in Taka. We then return to the outside of the building,found a seat, sat down and started chatting. I don't think I would add in the details here as I, myself, have sort of forgotten as we had chat about a lot of things.(actually is I want to keep that part for myself)
I think you girls might not have thought of this, but i have got a question here. Why is there a need to keep finding a place to sit down when you can shop more?(for those who knows me, even if my legs are tired out, i would still shop) hahas.. I have got the answer..(If you are not interested in knowing, you can skip this part) And the actual reason would be i have got cuts on the back of my foot due to my stubborness on wearing that nice new shoes i have got myself before this year.But i have only wear that shoes for only 1 week and the side effect is horrible. I have got a swollen leg now.As the old saying goes, 勉强是没有幸福的. Guess i finally got to understand this statement fully and in deep.
Next part of our shopping plan would be.. going home as it was quite late and i have to work on the next day.I got up very unwillingly as my leg still hurts but still.. i got up and walked..He sent me home. But frankly saying, today was fun and I enjoyed it =)
