JUNE 2010

1 June 2010 wasn't a very good day to start with. Went out at night and headed for home from BUgis Mrt.Some unhappy incident happened and i decided not to write about it. I just have to be more careful the next time i guess.

2 June 2010, went out with my dar dar. It was a very last minute decision. We went for Astons at Katong for dinner. he Astons there was quite ulu but still a lot of people go there for a meal with the host being really a great 1. However, the price of the food have increased by a dollar for the main dish and 50 cents for the sde dishes, as shown on their online menu.

3 June 2010: headed for home to coach my xiao mei on her math.

4 June 2010: Went out studying with some friends, even though i was doing the answer key for pri 4's math assessment.

5 June 2010: met the guys for bball. Bball was fun that day. The first match was already so tiring! The next few matches.. tiring.. tired.. dead tired.. hahas.. then got a guy said he wanted to join us for a match and so we cont playing even though we were very tired but we forgot to as him for his name, hahas.. anyway, sat was a fun day.

6 June 2010:

A very fruitful day spent at Downtown East with my mother and youngest sister. Guess this is the best day in my days for the start of June 2010. My mum had instructed me to wake up by 8am so that we can go there early. However, due to my stubborness to sleep at only 1 am plus on the previous night, i only woke up 8 hours later, 9 am plus, close to 10am. In the end, i only managed to get ready by 10.20am. Left for Pasir Ris, waited for the shuttle bus along the taxi stand shelter that came late. It was raining very heavily. In addition, the shuttle bus came late and even alighted the passengers at the wrong part of the shelter that makes those people who came very late to queue up for the shuttle bus very happy as they got to get up the bus faster than us. *IRRITATING!* The original place of alighting should be nearer to the taxi stand but it stopped so far away from it! ok.. i guess i am grumbling a lot so i shall get to the main point. GOt there, queued up to get the goodie bag and then went to the inner part of the tent for lucky draw and games. The games are.. fun i guess.. because i was still very sleepy so i did not really had the mood to play. Did not win anything from the lucky draw and games so went for lunch at 1pm. The food court, fast food restaurants were packed! There were so many people that we had to wait for people to finish their meal so that we have a table. We shared it with the others anyway as we had only three person. After lunch, it was super hot! The blazing sun makes me feel like I am burning, especially when I am in my black skinnies. Accompanied my xiao mei and mother for more games, but it is outdoor games this time round so i took out my umbrella which is still wet from the rain in the morning. Suddenly, a great idea came across my mind! I started laying the two umbrella on the glass patch while i stay under the shade, waiting for it to dry. I actually thought people would look at me but to my amazed, some followed me and had our umbrella dried! Went into the tent and realised that they were giving out free popcorn and mian hua tang!*so happy!*i went for two rounds somemore as i could not stop craving for more as i do not get to eat them often, hahas.. Next stop was to Explorer Kid at Ehub. Went in for a 1 hour free play with my mother and sister. Explorer Kids made me feel that i am so old and the kids nowadays are so dangerous! they had this fake painting of crocodiles, snakes on the matress, jungle like area that makes them explore and get their wey to the top before they make their way down using the slide. There were a lot of kids and the most frustrating thing of all that i heard from a kid is: jie jie, you are so old already, later you get stuck inside the slide so you better don't slide down. OMT!! i was shocked when she said this to me!! My heart.. *break* anyway, i did NOT get stuck inside the slide!OK, the 30 mins in there was so exhausting! The playground is make in such a way thast kids can get in easily while I will have a hard time doing so. Finally, the one hour is up and so we left for NTUC to get some grocery before heading for dinner at the food court opposite Wild Wild Wet. It was not that packed already since many had left for home.
waited for almost an hour for the 7pm's shuttle bus. blame it on our bad luck, we arrived at the stand just 10 mins after the 6pm shuttle bus, which made us waited for another 50 mins. Anyway, reached Bedok by 7.30pm, went to KFC for snackers and headed to sheng shiong which i bought some tibits again. by the time we reach home, it was 9 plus already and we were all tired from the 1 day fun and enjoyable day at Downtown East.

7 June 2010: headed for home again to coach my xiao mei on her math, being her weakest and most important subject.

8 June 2010: headed for home too to coach my xiao mei on her studies.

10 June 2010: went to bugis for a short shopping trip. wow.. managed to get this really nice shirt at $7.90 even though the quality is not very good but still.. it is nice.

11 June 2010: went out with ZH, ZS, WK, Owen and JC for bball at outside mac cc.. well.. it is the same situation, we were laughin throughout the match, thus exhausting our energy in the first hald and hour (hahas, if i am not wrong).

12 June 2010: went to the IT fair! yea!! so happy! the place was so crowded but still enjoyable as i got my printer's ink for 20% off.. hahas.. we went for dinner at Burger King @ marina sq then standard.. headed for pool. this time round, we did not win because i seriously think there is a problem with everyone. Even Owen and JC's skill were not there. Had a really HAPPY day!

13 June 2010: this day is GREAT, AWESOME!!
Early in the morning, woke up at 9am, wash up, brush teeth, bath and then we(Mum, xiao mei and I) headed for Downtown East. We reached Pasir Ris at about 10.15am which we were so so so lucky! we caught the shuttle bus which arrived, i guess, 5 mins earlier, hahas..
From 10.30am till 1.30pm, our time were spent in the Escape Theme Park.
1st stop: HAUNTED HOUSE! Got dragged into the house early in the morning to scare myself, stupid way to start the day, haiz..IT was so so so scary! u can hear those errie sound, the images that are shown, the bodies lying around.OMT! i kept screaming. My mum had no choice but to ask me to hug her tightly and so we managed to get out of the house in say 10 mins i guess.. i dare not open my eyes and just wished to be out the next moment!
2nd stop: Roller coaster for kids. I did not want to take it as from the last experience, the slant was really slanted and i was really terrified, hahas.. As there were no people, my mum and xiao mei took 2 rounds at one go! Got to mention this, it was really quiet in the morning at Escape Theme Park. People only came in at around 11 plus, reaching 12 noon. We did not take the pirate ship as i don't want to be over excited, hahas..
3rd stop: Aeroplane. this is quite lame.. for kids too.. you just sit in the plane and then the person will control the whole circulating process. Well.. we went for 2 rounds as there were not a lot of people.
4th stop: Car Driving. My mum asked me whether do i have the courage to give her a ride in the car, with me being the driver. I actually wanted to reject her offer but still accepted the challenge as i want to know how it feel to be the one driving and so.. here we go! the road was so bumpy that it make sure that you won't get out of the lane so easily. My mum even ask me to give my xiao mei a ride. After the 2nd ride, i decided to stop as the bumps are really making my hands shaky, hahas..
5th stop: This happened after my cousin and her son came to join us. We went for the roller coaster again and this time round, i became high already and so, i joined in the fun as well, hahas..scream again as the roller coaster came down.
6th stop: Bumper boat in water. WOW.. this was great. I was soak from head to toe! OMT! my xiao mei really got skill.. as her shooter shoots water straight but all the rest 45 degree, i got shoot straight in the face.
7th stop: (for those who went to Escape Theme Park before, you should know there is this boat that brings you up high then come down, it is in the water too..i do not know the name of this so do tell me if you know.) ya.. i got soaked again, from head to toes again.. went for 4 rounds, because the excitement is there and there were no people waiting for the ride.

Well.. This is the end of the day at Escape Theme Park. We proceeded to the food court for out lunch and then.. WILD WILD WET! WooHoo!! went to change into my swimming suit, which i realise it is a little too small for me already.
1st stop, under the yakult tin! hahas, wat a way to start the day at Wild Wild Wet, hahas..
2nd stop, went to the slides at the shallow water. Ran here and there, all around with my xiao mei and cousin's son as we were waiting for my mum and cousin to meet up with us.
3rd stop: Shiok River/pool. We went for 3 rounds as there were no people, hahas.. i would say Wild Wild wet has more people than Escape Theme Park. Moreover, some of the games in the Escape Theme Park were under maintainence so.. there is quite few things to play.
4th stop: Ular Lah. This is the one where 5 -7 people sit in a big tube that brings you screaming from the top to the bottom. Wa! While queuing up, we got irritated by these Secondary School girls, not singaporeans. They cut our queue and even asked their other friends to join in. I was like so frustrated!
5th stop: Tsunami pool. The wave had started when we got over there and I so enjoy myself in the wave. I had no control over the water, just allowing it to control me, so relaxing.
6- don't know how many stops: went random already but i remember we went for the Ular Lah 3 times, the slides 2 times, shiok river/pool another few rounds before going for the sky ride. I went off with my xiao mei and I didn't realise that she was this daring! hahas.. she is not afraid at all!
It was raining and so we stopped for a while, had this dumpling that was made by my cousin. she took the whole night to make it! *VERY NICE!* the filling is so fufilling! hahas..
Last stop is the bathroom of course, hahas. i stopped playing at 5.45pm and then went for a half and hour bath. It was so cooling, with the water running down and slowly taking my shower.
Went for dinner and then took a stroll back to Pasir Ris Mrt.
Well.. the day was AWESOME, with everyone going home with a great smile on our face!
