New phone and memories of old phones
A New Year with a New Phone, isn't that great?
Have been too busy in the past few weeks to realise that my phone's contract is actually ending in a few weeks time(hmmm.. few mths maybe, because is 7 weeks).How did i got to realise this incident you may ask. I am also not sure myself, so you can keep this question to yourself, hahas.This time round, I actually thought of getting a Samsung phone as I have got 2 Samsung phones and they are in quite good conditions even though 2 years has already past, of course 4 years for the 1st phone(which my mum is still using now)My 1st phone.
I got my 1st phone when i was in secondary 3, that was when i really wanted a phone of my own and decided to get down to earth, sign a contract. Before that i had a Nokia phone, but that is not mine, it belongs to my dad and i really yearn for one. So before i know, i have signed e contract already and I was 15 years old, still not old enough to sign a contract independently and had to get a parent to sign.But one of the requirement was to have the IC of my mum. Here comes the problem. My mum doesn't have the habit of bringing her IC out as there is really no need for that and if she somehow loses it, the penalty would be $100.I still remembered it vividly, my mum told me to go home and get it while she waits at bugis gor me. As you know, I m a determined person, so I took the train home to get my mum's IC and then went all the way back to bugis again while she and my youngest sister go for a walk around. In the end, i got my phone which i had to pay an addtional $48, if I am not wrong (I am saying if.. but you won't know the amount too, hahas). The new phone was practically my treasure to me. I really took care of it, but that was for the starting part.As time goes by, the phone slowly became a little malfunction and problems start, but i will skip the problem part, in case I am boring my readers to death already.
My 2nd phone, Samsung music phone. Tink i spent $50++ on that phone not because I really like the phone but because it has the music function.(but quite a fake.. cuz e speaker is the same as the part where you receive your phone calls) This time round, I am fully 18 years old.No need my mum's IC, but she bought it along anyway, just in case you see so that it can save me the trouble of running back and fro again, 22 mths later.[just in case you are wondering why 22 months later, it is because for M1(i am not sure of others), you can renew your contract once 22 months is over but you cannot terminate it]
My 3rd phone - Sony Ercisson C903
This time round i really didn't know that i would be using sony ericsson phone instead of Samsung phone, maybe because of the price. Samsung's phone are mostly touch screen and i don't really prefer that type as I, personally, feels that it is not user friendly to me. As a person who uses the keypad to sense when I am smsing, i would prefer something that would give me a more realistic feeling, so i switched brand. This time round, I am not alone in making the decision of geting this phone. I have got recommendations from all around, especially good details from him(he who won't want to be named), who went to the shop with me twice, yesterday and the day before. Actually I was not really determined to get the phone but after the comparison made ny him on his phone and mine, I became determined, hahas, because this phone is way better than his, HAHAS(jk jk,partially also because I want a change of brand due to the nice phone and price to me).Next time see him can compare our phones already, sure mine is way better than his, hahas..I actually asked for those kind of vouchers and stuffs but the person's reaction is just: you go check online, everything is there.But this time tound, the renewing of the contract is really fast, not like 22 months ago, the person told me a lot of information, but this time round, the talking time was reduced even though there is not much customers around as compared to 22 months ago.But the phone is not bad, 5 mega pixel for the camera, which is a WOW as compared to my 2 mega pixel camera music phone. Haven charge the phone yet, so I cannot guarantee that the charger is really alright. I am saying this because my sister has this problem 2 years ago too. She changed her phone to Sony Ericsson then and met up with a lot of problem with the charger. We went for a replacement and yet, the result is the same.She got a bit fed up so didn't went back to change the charger again.As for me, my choosing of SOny Ericsson phone is also partially because of her. As the charger is the same for all phones, she and I can share the charger and hopefully her problems regarding the charging of battery part can be fully resolved.
Ok, think it is time for me to sleep, if not, tomorrow I will become a panda.
