My new workplace
My previous job was in the accounts and admin department which allows me to learn some accs skill which coulfd be useful in my future career if i were to take the accounting line. However, after my result, i realise that I am not good enough to take accounting so.. i decided to give up the job. Not only does my result make me lost confidence in the area, my pay and workload is also another problem.Firstly, the pay is considered too little for me to save up for my future studies. Secondly, I was promised that they would teach me as many things as possible. But the problem is that the company itself is also out of control. They are having quite a few problems with the staffs there and seeing one by one leaving the position as they could not take the stress makes me faint hearted too. Moreover, the manager keep emphasising to her subodinate not to teach me new stuffs as I am only a TEMP stuff. This makes my staying there less worth it than before. Thus, i left the workplace to adventure for a new job and at the same time settle my application to the local universities.
This new job that I am currently holding is almost the same position as the previous job, just that this time, I am an admin assistant whereas I was an accounts and admin assistant.
The requirement for the new job here, Breadtalk HQ - Central Kitchen(CK), is not as demanding as the previous. I get to learn the stuffs slowly according to my own pace which makes me feel more comfortable. I also got to take the shutter bus to my new workplace every morning except saturday where the driver is not working. This new workplace does not have a canteen of their own unlike the previous workplace but.. there are HDBs around and it is easier to find food here.
One thing that irritates me is that there is only ONE bus that takes me to the Aljiunied Mrt, 62. Other than this, there are other buses like 90 and 133. Any kind soul can tell me where can those 2 buses takes me? hehe..
I was at.. O ya! the bus.. 62.. ok.. i have to admit.. sometimes bus 62A does come too.. but not on a frequent basis. If we were to miss the 6.31pm bus, we would have to wait for an odd 10 mins for another bus to arrive. This would allow me to reach Aljunied Mrt at about 6.45pm if i don't miss the first bus. However, if I am so unlucky to miss the first bus, I would reaching Aljunied MRt at 7pm! That is so late!!
Sorry for the boring posts that I have been posting as I don't really have time for other kind of posts, hehe..
