Chalet time!
We only agreed to have a chalet 3 wks ago and here, the chalet has already ended this morning.
CHalet is 3 days 2 night this time. Actually, we wanted to book a one night chalet instead but.. the rules and regulations state that we have to at least book 2 nights, so.. we had no choice but to book from Friday to Sunday, 7-9 May 2010.
ON Friday, most of us had to study and work so.. we only managed to start the chalet at 8pm and When i got there, the rest were only slacking around, watching movie waiting for the remainin few of us to reach. Which after, we went for dinner at the food court outside wild wild wet. AT the food court, while we were having our dinner, there was a group of people celebrating their friend's birthday and as usual, they make a lot of noise which sort if dampen our mood for dinner but anyway, we did not care much about them. AFter dinner, Owen suggested pool and off we go.. to the pool section at Ehub. But the sad thing is.. the tables are fully occupied and so.. we went to the Ntuc to get some drinks for the BBQ on saturday. Somehow.. there seems to be having an offer for ice cream, Halgon Daz ice cream, 2 for $23.80. OMG! this is so great!! But.. i still drop the idea as I had to make sure I am well enough to enjoy the BBQ food, heehee.. then back we go, to our chalet room to have a bath and then some movies which lasted us till 2am in the morning. The rest stayed up to watch but as for me, i prefer to sleep because.. We intend to taunt on saturday, heehee.. must get enough rest.
ON Saturday, I was the first person to wake up at 7 plus and so.. i decided to take a look at the sleeping posture the rest were having, heehee.. quite funny though.. I went to brush my teeth and wash my face. Got back to bed though and finally all of us wake up at 9 plus, 10am which we started to chit chat about the things that happened the last night. hahas.. it was indeed funny! Next, we proceeded for lunch and then pool. Halfway, we received a phone call from Wee kang, informing us that he is already at the gate with Zhong Han's cake and Audrey. AFter settling down, we decided to go for an outdoor games but.. dark clouds somehow came to welcome us too which makes us give up our plan and had to run back to the room in the rain. Most of us went for a bath as we were caught in the rain. BBQ time is almost here! We had wanted to start the fire at 5 plus but it is still raining heavily so.. we booked a BBQ pit that could last us till late night even if the rain continues or come again but.. we were wrong.. the rain stopped a while after we had booked the BBQ pit. In our plan, we had actually wanted to try out the game that Jeremy is going to teach but due to time constrain, we did not get to play that but played 'true or dare'.. hahas.. OUr BBQ lasted till almost 12am in the morning which after we decided to play 'polar bear' in the room. This game lasted for another 1 hour or 2. As some of us feel like going out for a walk, we went to the beach. I had wanted to watch sun rise but!! we thought it might be difficult to see it at the beach so.. we got back to the chalet and sleep from 5am till 8.30am. In the meantime, Zhong Han went out for a walk at the beach by himself and he managed to see the sun rise!! SO cool! I also somehow feel that Sat is especially long, mayb we did not sleep so early at night but early in the morning.
ON sun, which is today, we cleaned up the room a little and prepared for book out. Lunch was at KFC where some had e Buddy meal and some.. decided not to have.. n tat's mi.. i had oni hot milo as I don't really have appetite. When I reach home, i was exhausted! E 1st thing i did was to go to bed! hahas.. n i woke up at 5 plus to prepare mother's day dinner.
The chalet is the most memorable chalet I ever had. I don't think I will be able to forget it in a few weeks or even months.
